Shai is the Managing Director, Global Practice Leader - Executive Compensation of Willis Towers Watson. As one of ICDM’s esteemed Faculty Members, he has been conducting multiple development programmes for ICDM for both bespoke and public, focusing on HR and talent matters for directors. He serves on the Compensation Committee of a leading FMCG company in ASEAN, the Human Resource and Finance Committees of not-for-profit organisations in Singapore and as a non-executive director of a listed company in Singapore.
His expertise is in the diagnosis, design and implementation of human capital solutions; notably board and executive reward frameworks, long and short-term incentive plans (equity and cash based), sales force effectiveness, organisational development, career architecture, change management and culture transformation – in other words, the attraction-motivation-retention-productivity strategies. Shai is passionate about enhancing corporate governance in Asia, helping companies make informed people-decisions based on sound analytics, as well as building and growing teams in new markets.
Nazri specialises in AI and cognitive analytics, having spent more than two decades as a practitioner in these fields. He is currently the Founder/Group CEO of an award winning tech company called MyFinB. Nazri successfully led the Group to be named Asia-Pacific's Top 25 Hottest Fintech Companies in Asia Pacific and Top 30 Globally Most Attractive Companies, awarded by APAC CIO Outlook and The Silicon Review respectively in 2018. Nazri was also awarded the Young Business Leader Award (Innovation) by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) in 2010.
Prior to heading the venture builder group, Nazri was part of the investment and research team of major asset management groups like Citigroup and Prudential and an international ratings agency (Fitch Ratings), covering financial institutions in Asia.
Regarded as one of the early pioneers to deploy AI-based analytics in Asia-Pacific, Nazri plays a leading role in the digital transformation of the financial sector in the region. He is also a regular contributor on AI-related topics to the Malaysian Business magazine, and has made numerous media appearances and spoken on the topic in various parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Nazri has an MBA from University of Western Australia and a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and economics from the University of Queensland, Australia, as well as a Diploma in Accountancy from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore.
Mark Worthington is the Managing Director and Co-founder of Klareco Communications and heads its Singapore office. He oversees Klareco’s portfolio of corporate and financial clients. Key clients include Noble Group, Neptune Orient Lines, Lazada Group, Felda Global Ventures, Baker & McKenzie, Iskandar Investment Berhad, SingPost & SingTel.
He is a career media and communications expert, with extensive experience in strategic corporate communications, crisis management, media relations and training. Mark has created Klareco Communications’ market leading crisis, media and presentation training workshops for CEOs and other C-suite executives.
Mark is a former BBC News Correspondent with over a decade of experience as a journalist in Asia and Europe. He has also worked as an international television news producer for TBS Japan. He is a regular speaker at key Fintech conferences, and has appeared on several news and documentary programmes to provide insights into communications issues.
Erik P.M. Vermeulen is a Senior Legal Counsel at Signify (f.k.a Phillips Lighting), an Innovation Advisor at a law firm in the Hague and a board/advisory member of several organisations, including a healthcare provider in The Netherlands and several startups. He is also a Professor of Business and Financial Law at Tilburg University and teaches international business law regularly at universities in Europe, the United States, Colombia and Japan. He has appeared at numerous conferences as a featured or keynote speaker. Erik is also a co-owner of a Michelin star restaurant.
Erik can best be described as an innovator and has a blog where he shares insights and ideas about how the digital world is changing the way we live, work and learn. He has a particular interest in how artificial intelligence, sensors, data analytics and blockchain are amplifying and accelerating each other, thereby creating new opportunities across all areas of the economy and society.
Erik's thought-provoking and innovative views on business, leadership, governance, regulation and education have attracted international attention. He regularly serves as an expert advisor to international organisations, such as the European Commission, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United Nations, the World Bank, and national and local governments around the world.
As an ICDM Faculty Member, Erik has conducted leadership talks at Bursa Malaysia Thought Leadership Series organised by ICDM, as well as at ICDM's signature PowerTalk series in 2019. In the second half of 2019, he conducted the "Digital Upskilling for Boards", "Why Governance Matters for Startups", “Stakeholder Voice in the Boardroom” plus a few bespoke talks for our government and corporate clients. Erik was also one of the keynote speakers at ICDM's inaugural International Directors Summit (IDS) last year.
Ho Siew Kei is an Executive Director within Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice in Malaysia. He has more than 18 years of experience in risk and controls encompassing IT audit and advisory, and cybersecurity assessments services for clients in various industries, focusing on clients in the banking and insurance industries.
Previously, he spent 7 years in the United Kingdom – in an IT Risk & Compliance role for a major financial institution and as a Manager in another big 4 professional services firm based in London.
In his current role, Siew Kei manages vulnerability assessment engagements, and cybersecurity maturity and compliance assessments for Malaysian companies, focusing on financial services.
His qualifications and professional affiliations include Cybersecurity Audit Certificate, ISACA; Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISACA; Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), CPA Australia and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Sunil Puri is the Asia-Pacific senior director of research, innovation, and product development at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). He is a seasoned leadership and human capital researcher and thought leader with over 20 years of experience across large global organisations. Prior to CCL, he served as head of Research and Insights at the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI), set up by the Singapore government under Singapore Management University (SMU) to drive the global Asian leadership initiative. Sunil has authored several research studies including BOLD 3.0: Future Fluent Board Leadership in Asia, Imagining Asia 2030: Future Fluent Asian Leader, Architecting Future Fluent Culture: Critical Role of Human Resources (Asia Study), Developing Global Asian Leaders: From Local Stars to Global CXOs, CHRO 3.0: Preparing to Lead the Future HR Function in Asia, HR Leadership Stall Points, Developing Next-Generation Indian Business Leaders: The Keys to Success. In 2015, he co-edited a book titled Human Capital Insights: Inspiring Practices from Asia, for Asia. Sunny Khoo is the Managing Consultant and founder of Human Synergy, a HR consulting & training company that focuses on linking people with business strategy. The Company was set up in 2009 and is a registered training provider under HRDF Malaysia.
Prior to this, Sunny led the Human Capital Services Practice of Watson Wyatt Malaysia. With close to 25 years of management consulting & commercial HR experience, he has worked across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong and Australia. Before joining Watson Wyatt, he was the General Manager, Strategic HR for a large public listed company in Malaysia involved in property development, leisure and the hospitality industry. He gained his consulting experience with Towers Perrin and Andersen Business Consulting and has consulted both private and public sector clients, namely in the financial services, property & construction, telecommunications, energy and utilities, pharmaceuticals, conglomerates, plantation, manufacturing and government bodies.
Sunny’s key forte is in the areas of HR Transformation, Talent Management, Organizational Design, Change Management and Performance Management. He has trained and spoken on several public seminars in the areas of Performance Management and Talent Engagement and has written several articles and appeared once on a radio talk show, BFM. He has a Bachelor of Business [Management], from Monash University and he is a Certified Assessor for Assessment Center Tools and Techniques and a qualified Behavior Event Interviewer.

Azran is a professional speaker and was rated as London Speaker Bureau’s most booked Asian speaker for 2017, 2018 and 2019, sharing his hands-on experiences on disruptive innovation, challenging the status quo, corporate entrepreneurship and agility. He is also Endeavor Malaysia’s 2017 Mentor of the Year. He currently holds several Board positions.
Azran was the founding CEO of AirAsia X and led the airline from start-up to IPO, with annual revenues of US$1 billion and 2,500 employees within six years. He was also the CEO of iflix Malaysia, an internet television start-up that scaled to over 20 countries in less than three years.
A former Associate Partner of McKinsey & Company, Azran graduated from Stanford University. He is also an Ironman triathlete.
James is Chief Executive of Inspire Group Asia, an international learning and digital design company founded in New Zealand and now operating globally - including a learning hub in Kuala Lumpur.

Chin Han is the Managing Director and Country Leader for WTW in Malaysia. He has been in consulting for more than 20 years and has consulted with both private sector and governmental organisations in multiple situations including change events, mergers, transformations and strategic investments and divestments.
In his role, Chin Han works with senior management of companies including Board members across a wide range of consulting engagements. He represents TW at the Steering Committees of engagements and ensures that global and regional resources are deployed at the right time and level depending on engagement requirements.

Juan Jim is the Executive Director and Country Leader of Talent & Rewards Business for WTW in Malaysia. He has more than 19 years of experience in research, consulting and line management. His focus is on helping clients meet their business goals through organisation development, talent management, performance and rewards.
Juan Jim has headed top executive remuneration and organisation development practices at another leading global management consulting firm, prior to being the CHRO of IHH Healthcare and Parkway Pantai Limited, directly managing the operations of over 18,000 employees in 6 countries.
He has led client work in a myriad of industries including post-merger integration, KPIs and performance management, organisation and workforce strategy, talent management and strategic rewards. He has advised countless Boards, Cabinet Ministers and C-suites and is also experienced in implementing solutions and strategies for organisations.
Juan Jim holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and a MSc in e-Commerce Engineering from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London.
