A boutique Western Australian based engineering consultancy, is seeking a strategic and commercially astute Non-Executive Chair to support its next phase of growth and international expansion.
With a 18-year track record, the company is highly regarded in the land development, resources, and infrastructure sectors, delivering high-quality engineering solutions for private sector clients, state government agencies, and local councils. The company is known for its high-performing team, strong industry reputation, and agile project delivery.
The company recently opened an office in Malaysia and is now planning on strengthening its presence in Malaysia and the broader Asian market as part of its strategic growth. This role will work closely with the Country Director.
The annual directorship fee is RM100k/annum with Financial year-end in June.
The company are seeking an experienced and commercially focused leader with:
• Board-level experience, ideally as a Non-Executive Director or Chair
• A strong background in strategy, finance, accountancy or M&A
• Experience in international markets, particularly in Asia (Malaysia)
• A track record of guiding companies through international expansion
• Familiarity with corporate governance, risk management, and financial oversight
• A collaborative approach, able to provide mentorship and strategic counsel to a high-performing executive team
