The Mandatory Accreditation Programme (MAP) is a forward-looking initiative that incorporates the latest corporate governance principles and best practices. It aims to equip formally onboard first-time directors of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia and directors of companies seeking listing on the Exchange essential knowledge and skills for effective leadership in a transparent and accountable manner.

The programme includes globally-benchmarked competency modules covering corporate governance, fiduciary duties, and emerging areas like sustainability. It also emphasizes practical experiences and best practices from local and regional contexts. While open to directors of non-listed subsidiaries and as a refresher for experienced directors, priority will be given to those who are required to complete the programme under Bursa Malaysia's Listing Requirements.
