Alan is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow member, ICDM. He has over 35 years working experience in senior and C-suite roles in various sectors such as Trading, Manufacturing, Equipment Distribution and Plantations. He has worked for JV companies, MNCs and GLCs and has over 10 years as a director of various listed companies. He is currently an Independent Director on the Board of three listed companies – a Financial Institution, a provider of services to the Oil & Gas sector and a Utility company. In his role as an Independent Director, he has held roles as the Chairman or as a member of the Audit, Risk, Compliance, Tender, Nomination and Renumeration Committees.
