Dato’ Hamidah has more than three decades of extensive experience in leadership, human capital management and governance in Malaysia and at the regional level.
Throughout her career, Dato’ Hamidah has held senior management positions and served as a member of corporate boards, playing an important role in leadership development, succession planning, talent governance and strengthening organisational culture. Her experience as an Independent Non-Executive Director of several listed public companies, as well as Chairman of Nomination and Remuneration Committees, further complements her expertise in board governance and strategic oversight, in line with the mandate and aspirations of ICDM.
She currently holds several high-profile board positions, serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Maxis Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad, MR D.I.Y. Group (M) Berhad and Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad. Additionally, she sits on the board of the National Sports Council of Malaysia (Majlis Sukan Negara). Dato Hamidah is active in mentoring and coaching young talent and women in various formal and informal settings.
Dato' Hamidah holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, and a Certificate in Personnel Management from the Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management.
