Emelia Matrahah is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), as well as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, ICDM, and LeadWomen. She holds a Master’s in Business & Accounting from the University of Aberdeen and a BBA (Hons) from IIUM.
With over 30 years of experience across public-listed and government-linked companies, including Pricewaterhouse (M) Sdn Bhd, Lutz Hardwoods Sdn Bhd, Sapura Telecommunication Berhad, I-CIMB Sdn Bhd, and MIMOS Berhad, Emelia has held C-suite roles for two decades and served as President & CEO of MIMOS Berhad. She currently sits on the boards of Vitrox Corporation Berhad, Top Glove Corporation Berhad, and Tropicana Corporation Berhad.
Emelia is the founder of Matrahah & Associates, which provides CFO advisory, strategic HR consulting, and leadership development services. She is also the author of the e-book Chronicles of a CFO Life Journey – From Timid to Bold (2023), where she shares her life experiences to inspire executives to break the glass ceiling and soar in their careers.
