Ong Ai Lin brings over three decades of extensive experience in governance, risk management, finance, and assurance. She currently serves as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of 2 Public Listed Companies and sits on several board committees overseeing audit, risk, and governance. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, she holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from the University of Leeds, UK.
Prior to her board career, Ai Lin was a Partner and Senior Executive Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia, where she spent over 30 years advising leading corporations on corporate governance, internal controls, and financial reporting integrity. Her earlier career with Deloitte Haskin & Sells (DH&S), London and DH&S in Malaysia and Singapore grounded her expertise in audit and compliance across multiple sectors.
Known for her sharp governance acumen and practical boardroom insights, she continues to champion board effectiveness and disclosure transparency, with a growing focus on integrating sustainability reporting and enterprise risk oversight into board governance practices.
