Philip Forrest AM is an Australian who has lived in the ASEAN region since 1982, and in Singapore since 1991. In 2022 he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to Australia-Singapore business relations, and in 2011 he was presented with the President’s Medal by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore for his contribution to the Asia/Australia commercial relationship.
He is a member of the Governing Council of the Singapore Institute of Directors, and of the advisory board of James Cook University Singapore Campus. He also sits on the Council of Australian Alumni Singapore.
In past years he has served on the Councils of the Singapore Business Federation, the Australian Chamber of Commerce (former president), the Australia-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce, the British Chamber of Commerce, The Australia-Thai Chamber of Commerce (former president) and the Association of Banks in Singapore.
Philip is a non-executive director of several (mostly Australia-linked) companies in the region and was previously Asia Head for ANZ Bank. He also spent 15 years with Citibank in Australia, USA, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.
