Tan Sri Jamaludin brings over four decades of leadership experience. He served as CEO of Maxis Bhd for 10 years and later led Axiata Group Bhd as Group CEO for 13 years, transforming it into a regional powerhouse operating across 11 countries. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years with IBM and DEC Malaysia.
Since retiring in 2021, Jamaludin has remained active in numerous board roles. He is currently Chairman of QSR Brands Holdings Bhd and serves on the boards of AirAsia X, SEEK and NEXTDC in Australia. His previous roles include Chairman of Prasarana and AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd.
He has also contributed to national policymaking as a former member of Malaysia’s Economic Action Council and Digital Economy Council.
Jamaludin’s board experience spans executive, non-independent, independent, and chairman roles across diverse industries, encompassing private companies, public-listed corporations, and government- linked entities, with notable cross-border directorships in ASEAN and Australia.
