Soo Tyng embarked on sustainability management career for more than 13 years. Since her employment with Nets Printwork Sdn Bhd, she has developed many green initiatives which brought many awards such as Prime Minister Hibiscus Award (PMHA), ACCA Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Award (MaSRA), Asia Sustainability Reporting Award (ASRA) to the company.
Ts. Teh Soo Tyng has experience in establishing carbon footprint for printed material since 2010. Besides, she established the Sustainability Department, managing certification such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), SIRIM Eco Label and Carbon Footprint Label.
In 2016, she is recognised as National Industry Expert and Panel NOSS (National Occupational Standard Scheme) of Environment by Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia. In 2023, she is invited again to jointly develop the skill training programme on sustainability reporting and carbon management by the Department of Skills Malaysia.
In 2018, she is coffered as Certified Sustainability Practitioner by Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners. She became a certified trainer cum assessor and WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) in 2020. In 2023, she becomes International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) auditor and Certified Sustainability Reporting Assurer (CSRA).
She was invited to speak on ESG related topic at various events such as ESG Masterclass jointly organized by MRANTI and RAIF Impact Challenge Prize organized by 1337 Ventures on behalf of Securities Commission Malaysia and Bank Negara Malaysia in collaboration with World Bank Group.
She holds a B. Sc. (Honors) in Biotechnology from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK.
