Tobias has over 20 years of experience as a management consultant and entrepreneur. He started as a Financial Analyst at MCF Corporate Finance in Germany in 1998 and co-founded Pragma Holding AG as a CFO. In 2004, he moved to Malaysia and worked at McKinsey & Company until 2012, advancing to Senior Project Manager. Upon leaving McKinsey in 2012, he was appointed as Director and Head of Asia Pacific with Poyry Management Consulting in Singapore.
After leaving Pöyry, Tobias held several leadership positions within the Merica Group of Companies from 2015 to 2018. During this time, he served as a Director at Merica Holdings Pte Ltd and Merica Forest Pte Ltd in Singapore, as well as overseeing operations in Malaysia. Additionally, he held the role of Chief Executive Officer at WeGen Energy, leading its ventures in both Singapore and the Philippines.
Since founding LASAJU Consulting Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia in 2014, Tobias has led its sustainability-focused consulting business as Managing Director. Simultaneously, he served as Senior Advisor at SYSTEMIQ Ltd from 2018 to 2021. Currently, he is the Non-Executive Director of Merica Forestry, overseeing Merica Holdings Pte Ltd and Merica Forest Pte Ltd.
