Kuala Lumpur, 13 March 2026 – The Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM) has appointed Dato’ Hamidah Naziadin to its Board of Directors, as of 9 March 2026. This latest appointment supports ICDM’s continued commitment to raising the standards of board leadership and director professionalism in Malaysia.
Dato’ Hamidah brings more than 30 years of leadership in both executive and non-executive roles, with a specialised focus on human capital strategy, organisational transformation and board governance. She currently serves as Independent Non-Executive Director of Nestlé Berhad, Sime Darby Property Berhad and MR D.I.Y. Group (M) Berhad, and as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Maxis Berhad. Beyond corporate roles, she has contributed to the broader business and policy landscape as former President of the Malaysian Commercial Bank Association, and as former board member of Majlis Sukan Negara. She currently serves as a Board Trustee for Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan.
Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar, Chairman of the ICDM Board said: “We are pleased to welcome Dato’ Hamidah Naziadin to the Board. Her leadership experience in human capital, governance and organisational transformation brings an important dimension to our efforts to elevate and professionalise boards and directors in the country. Her deep understanding of people dynamics and the drivers of sustainable, high-performance cultures will support ICDM in building stronger internal talent capabilities and in shaping future leaders in governance.
