The transition is part of a structured leadership succession plan that takes effect in August 2025
6 March 2025, Kuala Lumpur – As part of a structured succession planning process, the Board of Directors of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (“ICDM”) today announced an important change in its leadership team. After seven (7) years of dedicated service, Michele Kythe Lim will be stepping down from her role as President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of 5 August 2025.
Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar Chairman of the ICDM board said, “As the inaugural President and CEO, Michele has played a key role in establishing us as a leading network and resource for enhancing the professionalism of directors. Under her leadership, ICDM has achieved significant milestones, including increasing the pipeline of first-time directors and improving the diversity of directors on boards.
