Programme Description

This financial management programme for non-finance directors addresses the challenges non-finance board members face when interpreting financial reports and making strategic decisions based on corporate data presented by management.

The programme will not turn you into an accountant but will give you a greater understanding of the financial information presented using the Du Pont Model to enhance your ability to evaluate the financial numbers and the confidence to delve into the issues involved in driving shareholder values and undertake basic valuation techniques.

The programme also introduces non-finance directors into the corporate finance arena involving strategic decision-making relating to which investment proposal to support out of many.

In addition, to finance such investments or acquisitions, we will share with you what can be considered the ideal capital structure, as to whether the issue of equity or debt or both are more financially viable based on the risk versus return trade-off and other drivers.
