What we valued most were the wholesome and professional manner it was done and being able to achieve our objectives. We can adopt a similar
methodology moving forward. In the past, the BDEE was done using internal resources, and the scope and outcome was somewhat limited.

We valued the independent assessment the most. It is always good to get such an assessment from an independent party with unbiased perspective. The assessment toolkit used by ICDM is comprehensive, covering all important aspects.

The exercise was very comprehensive, and I can’t think of a single item that was left out. ICDM’s BDEE questionnaire contain all pillars to measure an effective board. The presentation to the board was eye-opening and allows the directors to deliberate on the findings. Really, it was amazing work ICDM!
