Chee Keong LOW (‘CK’) is an Associate Professor in Corporate Law at The Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School with research interests in issues pertaining to corporate governance and the regulatory framework of
capital markets. His research which has been published internationally is supported by grants from the Companies Registry and the Sino Group.
Ravin Gill is currently a Senior Policy Advisor who looks into the formulation and development of new policies and law reforms related to companies/businesses in Malaysia. She is also a Trainer/Public Speaker who specialises in identifying the training and development needs of companies and is involved in developing and delivering training modules related to Company Law, as well as conduct related research projects.
Megat is a Partner for Deloitte Risk Advisory with more than 15 years of experience advising on cyber security, enterprise risk management, project risk advisory and business continuity projects. He has vast experience in the Energy & Resources Sector, Financial Services Sector, Public Sector and Manufacturing industries. Megat holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Queensland. He is also a Certified Professional for Governance, Risk & Compliance, and Business Continuity Management.
Dr Jasmina Kuka has eighteen years of direct working experience with international organisations, UN agencies, corporate and public sector in conducting impact assessments, research and situation analysis as well as implementing monitoring & evaluation of national and international programmes.
Dr David Bobker is the Associate Professor in Risk Management and Director of the Centre for Economics and Risk at the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST), where he is leading initiatives to enhance research and teaching in these areas as well as the development of software applications for risk analysis, stress testing and econometric analysis. These are based on his unique “inverse risk logic” approach which encompasses reverse stress testing methodologies and a top-down approach to strategic risk management.
Nazri specialises in AI and cognitive analytics, having spent more than two decades as a practitioner in these fields. He is currently the Founder/Group CEO of an award-winning tech company called MyFinB. Nazri successfully led the Group to be named Asia-Pacific’s Top 25 Hottest Fintech Companies in Asia Pacific and Top 30 Globally Most Attractive Companies, awarded by APAC CIO Outlook and The Silicon Review respectively in 2018. Nazri was also awarded the Young Business Leader Award (Innovation) by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) in 2010.
Anthony is an Executive Director / Partner attached to Deloitte’s Risk Advisory division. Anthony leads the Extended Enterprise Risk Management, Assurance and Cyber Risk service lines in Deloitte Malaysia.
He has over 20 years’ experience in professional services and, in particular, risk advisory and assurance. Anthony specialises in internal, IT and cyber security assessments and reviews, corporate governance and business processes reviews, risk management and large scale programme and project risk management.
Alex Ooi is currently the Executive Officer of the Audit Oversight Board, Securities Commission Malaysia. Prior to joining the AOB, he was an audit partner with BDO Malaysia.
Alex is currently a Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Alex serves as an Adviser to the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) and also represents the SC as a member in the Audit Licensing Committee of the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. He is an Observer to the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB), and the Ethics Standards Board (ESB) of MIA.
Ranukka was a 2 time award winning senior training manager in a pharmaceutical company, not to mention one of the youngest in her position in Asia Pacific, before deciding on quitting her job to pursue her lifelong dream and passion, in helping individuals as well as corporate company employees to have congruency between their external representation and internal values match their perception with their substance.
