Until 31 December 2024, Tan Sri Datuk Dr Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria was the executive director of the APEC Secretariat based in Singapore. Prior to joining the APEC Secretariat, Dr Sta Maria was a top-level Malaysian civil servant and trade negotiator. She was recently appointed the Pro Chancellor of Sunway University, one of the premier private universities in Malaysia.

She began her career in the Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 1981 and served in various capacities in the then Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Jackie leads the strategic direction of ICDM’s Directors Development & Certification Framework, equipping board leaders with the skills and mindset to navigate evolving governance challenges. A graduate of the ESG Competent Boards Programme, she actively integrates ESG principles into ICDM’s offerings for boards and C-suites.

Pankaj is presently the Managing Director of Datametrics Research and Information Centre Sdn. Bhd. (DARE), a local think-tank performing research and advocacy for a multitude of topics such as economics and specific sectors, as well as Independent Market Research, Business Overview, Management Discussion and Analysis reports for the purposes of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs). He also sits as an Independent Non-Executive Director of MN Holdings Berhad, OSK Ventures International Berhad, and KUB Malaysia Berhad, which are all listed on Bursa Malaysia.
